Join us for a one of a kind coalition event that is bringing the left, right, and center of Minnesota politics together. We will be inside the capitol building from 11 AM to 2 PM; restrooms will be available.
Defend the guard legislation is about punching a hole in the military industrial complex and endless wars; we the people get to determine the fate of our national guard, not the overbearing federal government.
Here is what we want to accomplish:

He has also spent time as a local organizer in Morrison County, working to connect conservatives within the community.
TJ is a US Navy Veteran with over two decades working within the military industrial complex. He was deceived like a lot of us and believed he was doing ‘the right thing’ for many years. Today, TJ is committed to real freedom and running for state representative in MN district 44B. Defend The Guard is TJ’s highest priority for Minnesota legislators.
Ahmed AlRwazek is a member of the Libertarian party of Minnesota
Stephen Lowell is a political outsider who ran for State Senate in 2022 and serves as the interim Chair for the Constitutional Republic Party. Dissatisfied with the performance of the major parties he seeks to bring integrity and representation back to politics in Minnesota
Rebecca Whiting is an Army veteran who served two deployments to Iraq as a medic from 04-07. She currently lives in Bemidji, Minnesota, where she raises her family on her family farm, and is also the Chair of the Libertarian Party of Minnesota.
In 2004, Travis Johnson joined the Texas National Guard. By November of that year, he was preparing for deployment to the Middle East, and in January 2005 he was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While on deployment he realized how much he missed serving his country. He transferred back to active duty where he remained until 2018, when he retired as a Sergeant First Class and moved back to Minnesota.
